Newspaper Delivery

Remember way back in the day when newspapers were common? Well, they still are in San Andreas! The different newspapers are hiring contract workers to deliver their papers. The job even comes with a cool ass BMX bike to ride while you sling the news.

There are currently several newspaper office locations to start work. Los Santos Meteor at Postal 9042, Mirror Park Papers at Postal 7326, and Daily Globe – Vinewood at Postal 7113, and Daily Globe – Sandy Shores at Postal 3024. The routes will be randomly picked from customers within the delivery radius of that newspaper office.

Just talk to the manager, get your bike, put on your sack of papers and get to work! There is no uniform for this job.

The newspaper is handled like a “weapon” so you can throw it. Equip it in a quick slot to make your job easier. Drive to the locations that need their papers delivered and throw them do the doorstep. You will have to equip the newspaper each time you need to throw one.

Return to the office to get another delivery route or to end your shift and collect your pay.

Information from the developer:

  • Route-Based Delivery Flow — Players receive a generated house route, ride a BMX to each stop, and throw newspapers at marked house targets in order. Route size scales with carrier level.
  • Throwable Delivery Mechanic — Each route hands out a limited weapon_newspaper supply plus spare papers that let players recover from missed throws without breaking the shift.
  • 5-Tier Progression — Five carrier levels increase route size, tip chance, pay multiplier, and spare paper supply while tightening the allowed hit radius. XP earned per shift feeds persistent progression.
  • Route Timer System — Completing the route under the allotted time awards a speed bonus. Late completion applies a route-wide penalty that cuts into final payout.
  • Detailed Pay Breakdown — Final payout is calculated from base pay, distance bonus, streak bonus, random tips, speed bonus, and taxes — all itemized for the player at shift end.
  • Daily Streak Bonuses — Consecutive-day shift completion builds a streak multiplier, rewarding consistent carriers with recurring payout bumps.
  • Complaint & Abuse Handling — Losing or abandoning the BMX triggers a cash fine, adds a complaint, clears the active route, and forces the player back to depot flow. Death and running out of papers mid-route are tracked the same way.
  • 9 Tutorial Prompts — First-time prompts teach route pickup, throwing mechanics, miss recovery, ammo management, late route penalties, and the leveling system so new carriers onboard without hand-holding from staff.
