Step 1 – Register With Los Santos Job Center

When you first spawn into the game, you will be inside your new free apartment. You should automatically receive a driver’s license and a state issued ID card. Do not lose these, or you will have to go purchase duplicates. These are used by the QBCore system to keep up with your player information and to show to law enforcement as requested.

The Los Santos Job center is located at the corner of Alta Street and Vespucci Blvd at postal 8156, labeled on the map as City Services. Walk up to the female at the counter to get a new Driver’s License or ID card. She also can give you available open jobs to take. If you have not lost your driver’s license or ID card, there is no need to get another from here.

You will use the driver’s license and ID card items in your inventory for “showing your ID” to identify your character. Each character has it’s own ID card and Driver’s license. You can create up to 8 total characters, each with their own jobs, money, bank account, vehicles, etc.

The male on the left behind the counter is for Driving School. This is not used at this time, but may later be ordered by the court.
