Fishing

One of the many recreational activities offered across the state, Fishing is by far the most popular past time. Recreational fishing allows for a player to spend time relaxing by the water with your friends, catch fish which you can then consume, give to another player, sell at the market or simply toss in the trash for the local cats to enjoy.

If you don’t already own boat, you’ll need to buy one from 8239 (blue sail boat icon). You can also rent a boat at postal 8203 on the beach (green sail boat icon).

Rods can be used from boats, piers, ledges, etc. You can purchase better rods as you level up in your fishing experience over time. There are regular fishing rods, graphite rods, and titanium rods. Each level of rod has better durability than the others.

You can buy your fishing gear from the Outdoorsman Shop guys at postal 1079, 3031, or on Cayo Perico Island.

Use the rod you want from your inventory and follow the prompts. You will get a mini-game circle on your screen when fishing. You’ll want to press the E key on your keyboard when the line reaches the blue colored part of the circle.

If you want to sell your catch, you can do so by talking to the guys at postal 8005 or in the Zancudo Swamp (green anchor icon).
